Lancers show their school spirit through another pep rally! On February 16th, 2024, Grant hosted one of their traditional pep rallies, igniting the gym with Lancer pride celebrating our Winter sports. From the cheers of the crowd to the stirring performances, the atmosphere was charged with excitement.
Kicking it off, the pep rally commenced with the dynamic energy of our cheerleaders setting the stage for the entrance of our esteemed basketball and soccer teams, each accompanied by music specially curated to amplify their presence. Students showed their unwavering support for our athletes through cheers and enthusiastic engagement in the activities hosted. Led by Coach Yang, the iconic scavenger hunt game captured the essence of Grant’s tradition, bringing students and teachers together. The game ended with the teachers’ triumph, receiving laughter with the audience and adding another layer of joy to the rally. Grant’s iconic duo, our beloved mascots, represented the Lancer spirit, keeping students entertained throughout the entire assembly.
As always, Grant’s band killed it with their performance, showing off their musical skills. Color guard mesmerized the crowd with their graceful movements as they danced their hearts out. Additionally, ASB members collaborated with the special education department filling the floor with their infectious energy, showing off their dance moves and livening the mood of the day.
A heartfelt thank you is owed to Coach Yang and Ms. Wright for their dedication to orchestrating our unforgettable pep rallies, ensuring taht each event surpasses the last in school spirit.
